No-show (guest does not arrive)

No-show (guest does not arrive)

A no-show means that the guest does not arrive on the day of check-in and has not informed us of a cancellation or change to the booking.

What happens in the event of a no-show?

  • The reservation remains listed as “not arrived”.

  • No refund will be issued to the guest, unless the cancellation policy states otherwise.

  • The period will not be released for rebooking on the same dates, as the guest could still arrive later.

Payout to the owner

The payout is processed according to the applicable cancellation policy.
If the policy states that the guest is not entitled to a refund, the owner will receive the payout as usual.

OTA bookings

For no-shows on external platforms (such as Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo), the terms of the respective platform apply.
In some cases, an OTA may enforce a partial or full refund. In such situations, we must follow the platform’s rules.
