Damage during your stay

It may happen that accidental damage occurs in the accommodation during your stay. We kindly ask you to report any damage as soon as possible, so the owner or property manager can take appropriate measures and prevent further damage.

How does it work?

Reporting damage

Please report the damage as soon as possible to the owner or property manager of the accommodation.
The contact details can be found in the check-in instructions you received before arrival.

Please clearly state:

  • what happened

  • what damage has occurred

  • (if possible) include photos

Reporting damage is not a complaint, but is intended to handle the damage correctly and transparently.


Damage fund

Minor damages may, in some cases, be compensated through a damage fund.
Whether this applies will be assessed per situation based on the applicable terms and conditions.


Major damage

In the case of more significant damage, the owner or property manager may charge the costs to you.
This will be discussed with you and handled as transparently as possible.
