Damage Terms and Conditions

Damage Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to damage to the accommodation and/or inventory during the stay.

1. Damage noticed upon arrival

Any damage or defects noticed upon arrival must be reported as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours after arrival, to the owner or property manager.
Contact details can be found in the check-in instructions.

Damage not reported within this time frame may be considered damage that occurred during the stay.

2. Damage during the stay

Any damage occurring during the stay must be reported immediately to the owner or property manager.

Reporting damage is not a complaint, but intended to handle the damage correctly and transparently.

3. Liability

The guest is liable for damage caused during the stay due to:

  • improper use

  • negligence

  • failure to comply with the house rules

4. Damage fund

Minor damage may, in some cases, be covered by a damage fund.
This will be assessed per situation based on the applicable terms and conditions.

5. Major damage

In the event of major damage, the costs may be charged to the guest.
This will be discussed with the guest and handled as transparently as possible.

6. Additional provisions

If necessary, additional documentation such as photos or statements may be requested to assess the damage correctly.
