Surcharges and Additional Costs

In addition to the rental price, extra charges may apply to a reservation. This article explains which surcharges and additional costs may apply and how they are processed.

Which costs may be charged?

Depending on your accommodation, the following costs may apply:

• Surcharge for additional guests
• Pet fee
• Bed and bath linen
• Baby cot or highchair
• Parking or access passes (if applicable)
• Service fees
• Tourist tax

Who determines the amount of these costs?

You decide which additional costs you want to charge and at what rates. Sun & Sea Holidays enters these amounts into the reservation system so they are visible to guests during the booking process.

Processing additional costs

Additional costs are listed on the guest’s rental agreement and included in the total travel sum. Depending on your arrangements, these costs are:

• charged to the guest in advance, or
• settled on-site (only if agreed in advance)

We recommend stating clearly which costs are mandatory and which are optional, to avoid misunderstandings upon arrival.

Changes to surcharges

Would you like to adjust the rates for additional costs? You can inform us of any changes. We will update the new rates in the reservation system and notify you once this has been completed.
