Mandatory and optional surcharges

In addition to the base rates, mandatory and optional surcharges may apply to your accommodation. These surcharges are always clearly shown during the booking process, so guests know exactly what they are paying for.
Sun & Sea Holidays ensures that all charges are calculated correctly and displayed transparently when booking.

Mandatory surcharges

These are costs that apply to every booking by default:

  • Final cleaning: fixed amount per stay.

  • Bed linen & towels: per person, per stay (or included, if agreed in advance).

  • Tourist tax: determined by the municipality, charged per person per night.

Optional surcharges (if applicable)

These are extras that guests can add to their booking:

  • Baby cot or high chair: surcharge per stay.

  • Pet fee: fixed amount per night or per stay.

  • Parking space or garage: fee per day or per week.

  • Bicycles or other extras: surcharge per day or per stay.

All surcharges must be clearly defined in advance to avoid surprises for guests. This helps prevent complaints and cancellations.
