How renting through Sun & Sea Holidays works

Before your accommodation goes live, it is important to understand how Sun & Sea Holidays operates and how the collaboration between us and you as the owner is structured. This article provides a clear overview of our role, your role, and how the cooperation works across the different subscription options.

What is Sun & Sea Holidays?

Sun & Sea Holidays is an advertising platform for holiday rentals. Owners can use our platform to present their accommodation to a wide audience. In addition to advertising, we offer optional extra services such as support with rental management.

Our goal is to help owners increase visibility, create professional listings and ensure a smooth rental experience — while keeping flexibility for the owner.

How does the collaboration work?

The way we work together depends on the subscription you choose. You can select from two options:

1. Advertising Subscription

This option is suitable for owners who want to stay involved in the rental process, but prefer to outsource advertising and the reservation system.

What Sun & Sea does:

  • Creates and manages your listing on our website and/or partner platforms

  • Handles reservations and payments

  • Answers general questions from guests (e.g. regarding bookings, payments, terms, check-in information)

What you do as the owner:

  • Answer content-related questions about the accommodation
    (e.g. facilities, appliances, house rules, practical information on-site)

  • Handle cleaning, maintenance and on-site practical matters unless agreed otherwise

This subscription is ideal for owners who want to remain actively involved with guests and operational tasks and available for accommodations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

2. Management Subscription

With the management subscription, Sun & Sea also takes care of full guest communication and rental management.

Availability
Carefree Management is currently only available for accommodations located within the municipality of Noordwijk (South Holland).

What Sun & Sea does:

  • Everything included in the Advertising Subscription

  • Handles all guest communication before, during and after the stay

  • Provides support with practical arrangements when needed

What you do as the owner:

  • Only the tasks agreed on in advance (depending on selected management services)

  • You are relieved of most operational responsibilities

This subscription is suitable for owners who want to have as little to do with the rental process as possible. This subscription is currently only available for accommodations located in the municipality of Noordwijk (South Holland).
