Covered by the Damage Fund
The Damage Fund covers accidental damage to the accommodation or inventory between €25 and €250 per stay.
Not covered by the Damage Fund
Intentional damage, reckless behaviour, gross negligence, damage caused by pets (without prior approval), extreme cleaning costs, and damage above €250.
Reporting damage
Damage must always be reported immediately to the owner or property manager so it can be handled correctly.

What should I do if I notice damage upon arrival?
Please check the accommodation as soon as you arrive. If you notice any damage or defects, report this directly to the owner/manager. If possible, include photos. This ensures the damage will not be attributed to you and allows for prompt action.
Can I cancel my booking free of charge?
You may cancel your reservation free of charge up to 30 days before arrival. If you cancel within 30 days before arrival, 50% of the rental amount will be charged. If you cancel within 7 days before arrival, 100% of the rental amount will be charged. ...
What are the mandatory costs?
For most accommodations, in addition to the rental price, you also pay mandatory costs such as final cleaning, bed linen, tourist tax and damage fund.
