Booking Changes

A guest may wish to make changes to a reservation after it has been confirmed. This may include adjusting travel dates, the number of guests or adding extra services. Below you will find how booking changes are handled and what the possible consequences are.

What can be changed?

The following elements of a booking can be adjusted, if possible:

  • arrival and departure dates

  • number of guests

  • extra services, such as bed linen, baby bed or pets

  • guest contact details

All changes are subject to availability.

How to request a change

  1. The guest submits the change request via Sun & Sea Holidays.

  2. We review availability and any impact on the price.

  3. If approved, the guest receives an updated booking confirmation.

A change is only final after confirmation from Sun & Sea Holidays.

Possible financial consequences

A change may affect the total rental price.
This may result in:

  • an increase or decrease in the price when dates change

  • additional costs for extra services

  • cancellation fees in case of a shortened stay

If a change results in fewer nights, this is considered a partial cancellation and the cancellation policy may apply.

OTA bookings

For bookings made through external platforms (such as Airbnb, Booking.com or Vrbo), the possibilities for changes may be limited.
In such cases, the platform’s conditions apply, and changes may only be processed via the OTA or may not be possible at all.

Advice for owners

To avoid confusion, we recommend:

  • all booking changes should be handled by Sun & Sea Holidays

  • guests should not contact the owner directly to request changes

  • owners should not accept changes without confirmation from Sun & Sea Holidays
